Do you fall asleep easily on planes? EasyJet has a new CD for you. The airline has released "Jet Sounds," a 10-hour album of plane noises aimed at helping people fall asleep and stay asleep.
"The soft, repetitive, ambient drone of white noise can drown out sounds, gently settle the brain and aid the on-set of sleep," Dr. Sandra L. Wheatley explains. "There is also strong evidence that it can dampen out disruptive noises that can disturb our slumber."
"Jet Sounds" is available now and cost $1 for a single track and $10 for the full album. All proceeds are going to The Children’s Sleep Charity, to help support children and families with sleep issues and provide accredited training for professionals.
