Carl’s Jr. is getting on the CBD train, just in time to celebrate 4/20. In case you forgot, Saturday is April 20th…aka 4/20…aka “Weed Day.” With that in mind, the fast food chain is taking a chance to add some CBD to its burgers.
For the uninitiated, CBD is cannabidiol, the trendy compound that helps relieve anxiety, chronic pain, and more…and it’s infused into all kinds of products these days. But by various accounts, this is reportedly the first time it’s being included in a fast food item.
So on Saturday, Carl’s Jr. is serving up the CheeseBurger Delight - get it, CBD? It comes with two beef patties, pickled jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, Crisscut fries and its signature Santa Fe sauce infused with CBD. They say it’s only going to be available on April 20th (for now, anyway), and it’s only available at one single location in Denver. And the price? $4.20, naturally.
If we eat the burger, will it give us the munchies? If so, then yes I WOULD like fries with that!
