Want Better Sleep? Take a Bath!

Looking to catch some quality zzzs when you hit the sheets? One new study suggests that taking a warm bath 1 to 2 hours before bedtime can improve overall sleep efficiency.

A warm bath taken before bedtime could help you fall asleep 36% faster, according to the University of Texas. Don't make that water too scalding hot. A bath with a temp of 102-109 Fahrenheit is ideal.

How does a bath help you sleep? Getting out of a warm bath causes your temperature to drop, which is needed to initiate good sleep. If you don't have time for a bath, the study finds that a warm shower can also help your sleep.

What do you do to help you fall asleep faster? Have you tried the bath technique?
