Looking to Reduce Stress and Depression? Become a Beekeeper!

Researchers have found a new ally in the battle against stress, anxiety, and depression. Hope you like honey. "Beekeeping therapy," as it's known, has shown good results with soldiers returning from their service suffering from symptoms of PTSD. The military has used beekeeping to aid veterans since World War I, with the VA continuing to run several programs across the US to this day.

While scientific evidence on exactly how it boosts mental health is lacking, those at Harvard Medical School back up the claims that the therapy works, pointing to studies that show being out in nature benefits the brain.
