Family Pays Hundreds of Dollars to Save Pet Fish!

An Australian family who paid $30 for their pet koi fish recently noticed a small tumor on the fish's back. Bubbles the koi needed to have the tumor removed in order to survive.

Bubbles' family decided to pay $300 to have a ten-minute procedure to save the fish. Vets anesthetized Bubbles while in the water then moved the fish to an operating table while running sterilized water through its gills.

The koi is now healthy and back in his family's pond. Koi can live around 35 years. Would you pay hundreds of dollars to save the life of your pet fish?

What's the most you've ever paid for a vet bill?
