Mom Turns Christmas Presents Into $1M Lottery Win
A Missouri woman got the gift that really does keep on giving for Christmas this year.Trisha Miller told Missouri Lottery officials she won some small amounts on scratch-off tickets she received as presents from her family, including her son. So she asked him to cash them in and use the winnings to buy her more tickets.
Miller was hoping to continue her lucky streak and she did. The tickets her son bought for her included a $10 MAX-A-MILLION scratcher that won her a $1-million top prize. The lucky lady previously won a $50-thousand lottery jackpot in September, so she’s on a roll. She plans to use her new fortune to buy herself a new SUV and to buy new cars for her kids.
“My son said, 'I think I got you the best Christmas present ever!’” Miller says. “I always want to help my kids as much as I can. All my kids are super happy
