The I-84 Westbound ramp to I-5 Southbound will be shut down 24-hours a day for ten days starting Friday, August 17th.
Once again, the I-84 Westbound ramp to I-5 will be closed around the clock for days. This time, the ramp to I-5 South will be shut down for repairs.
Kimberly Dinwiddie with ODOT, says crews are replacing the bridge joints, removing concrete, repairing the metal structure below the concrete and laying down new concrete.
Only the far right lane of I-84 west will be open, which will take you to I-5 Northbound.
Alot of congestion is expected and drivers are being asked to avoid the area if they can, take an alternate route, or use public transit.
I-84 Westbound to I-5 Southbound will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, August 27th.
