Keizer Man Accused Of Hacking Into Financial Business

The son of an employee of Homeside Financial in Keizer is accused of using his parent's computer to get access into the company to set up false accounts.

Keizer Police say one of 28-year-old Jackson Hansen's parents worked for the company. He hacked into their computer to gain access and then allegedly created at least 80 fraudulent credit card applications and a loan secured against a victim’s 401(k) account. Detectives identified 11 victims in this case.

Hansen is charged with Identity theft x 9 (bail $900,000), computer crime x 2 (bail $20,000), theft I (bail $10,000), attempted theft I (bail $10,000), attempted forgery I (bail $10,000), and unlawful possession of methamphetamine (bail $5,000).
