A man armed with a gun was tased in front the Marion County Courthouse on Wednesday.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office says a man had set up a tent at the entrance to the courthouse.
The suspect told deputies he had a gun and refused to get out of his tent.
The area was locked down while negotiators tried to get the man to peacefully surrender. When he refused, officers used a Taser on the man and he was taken into custody.
54-year-old James Boyles was evaluated at a hospital before being booked. No gun was recovered.
