We find the Lutz family fleeing their recently purchased Long Island house after being terrorized by paranormal phenomena. The events are later developed into a best selling book and blockbuster movie, “The Amityville Horror.”
We find the debut episode of "Family Feud" starring host Richard Dawson. He began kissing female contestants on the lips in future episodes, and later married a contestant he met on the show!
And we find a song on the radio by Thin Lizzy. The group was surprised when the song became their breakthrough hit – because they didn't think it was that good. The record company knew better, and put the track on the album Jailbreak against the wishes of the band.
