We find the debut of a sitcom about life in the 1950s. The show originated three years earlier when Michael Eisner and the head of development at Paramount found themselves snowed in at Newark airport. Eisner stated, “We're wasting our time here. Let's write a show." “Happy Days” was the result.

We find Muhammad Ali knocking out George Foreman in the “The Rumble in the Jungle.” The fight has been called "the greatest sporting event of the 20th century", and is famous for Ali's introduction of the rope-a-dope tactic.
