Carson Time Capsule... Monday, April 5th.

In the time capsule today…

We find a viral ad campaign by Burger King featuring 'Herb the Nerd.' Herb is a mysterious man who has never eaten a Whopper

We find Tim Burton's directorial debut starring Paul Reubens. “Pee-Wee's Big Adventure” is a parody-version of the 1948 Italian classic “Bicycle Thieves”

And we find a song on the radio by Dire Straits. “Money For Nothing” was written in a New York appliance store next to a wall of televisions tuned to MTV. One of the delivery men started riffing on the videos, his lines were copied down, and a hit song was born!
